La machine à traduire servira peut-être, un jour, d’appareil photographique en interprétation ou en traduction ; elle ne parviendra, néanmoins, à réexprimer le message intégral que si interprètes et traducteurs définissent sa tâche, si bien qu’elle les servira sans les remplacer, comme la photographie ne remplace pas la peinture, mais peut devenir un instrument de création entre les mains d’un artiste.
