Abstract: This typewriter, abundantly corrected and completed by the writer himself, remained unpublished. The text was first to be broadcasted on February 14th 1953 in the Parisian radio program “Le Monde est un spectacle”, but apparently never was. The words recalling Carnival and life in Brazil reinforce, thirty years after his first trip was made, the importance of this country-continent that Cendrars made his second homeland.
