Abstract: Freedom of movement is often present, like background music, in European films and television series. This freedom has a legal dimension, but also an economic, social, political, and biographical one. The cinematographic perspective brings the law to life, as a series (Bad Banks) and two films (L’Auberge espagnole and Una vez más) demonstrate. Films and series could therefore be incorporated into critical reflection.
