  • Abstract: A political and legal entity, the European Union does not seem destined to inspire cinematographic or televisual creation. However, the institutions, actors, and actions of the Union are today being represented in series and films, either as a backdrop or as a driver of plot. It is therefore the appropriate time to offer a legal analysis of audiovisual work that addresses this Europe, so distant yet so close.
