Abstract: Just like its previous series, the third season of the French political drama series Baron noir, by Éric Benzekri and his co-authors, is a gem not only of entertainment but also of education about positive constitutional law and its “words.” Tackling the current paradoxes and trends of the Fifth Republic with its theme of the “hyper-president,” it puts forward a number of solutions to the “wrongdoings” of the era: corruption, abstention, rising extremism, and other phenomena that are neither partisan nor controlled.
