Abstract: Not all judicial errors are famous; some are known only to a few. The present text narrates the life of Robert Motylski, his questionable conviction in England, his incarcerations, his escapes, and his work as an artist. It provides excerpts from the manuscript that Motylski wrote to tell his story, which he entitled M. le Maudit.
