Abstract: When exploring the origins of feminine mythical figures, how can one conclude whether they were born out of male or female imagination? Both male and female projections of social and spiritual relationships, progressively combined in traditional mythical narratives, continue to be modified through time. How will today’s transformations of ancient feminine mythical paradigms impact the emerging theories of myth? Will we still be able to recognise the new productions as belonging to the same tradition?
