  • Author: Szmidt (Olga)
  • Abstract: The idea of World Literature raises doubts in contemporary literary criticism. The interference of these two related fields – though less often juxtaposed than Comparative Literature and World Literature – can further conceptualize World Literature, but above all reconsider several categories to frame this notion (canon, privilege, distance, utopia). This is what appears in the works of 21st-century researchers, especially the theoretical works.
