De l’Absurde à l’Amour La « révolution » éthique de Camus entre Nietzsche et Scheler

  • Publication type: Article from a collective work
  • Collective work: Camus et l’éthique
  • Author: Novello (Samantha)
  • Abstract: What is analyzed here is the way in which Camus established a real and positive “revolution” seeking to counter the nihilism of contemporary society which can suggest that life is not worth living and indeed that the extermination of another’s life is justifiable. Camus looked to a new “renaissance” by delineating an ethics of love from the 1930s onwards and by confronting the material value-ethics formulated by Max Scheler.
