Abstract: Painter, engraver and illustrator, Marie Laurencin established a thick network of relations in the first half of the 20th century. Our article focuses on the writing of a primer evoking the existing intellectual connections between the personalities quoted in the correspondence between Valery Larbaud and Marie Laurencin herself. Throughout the entries in the primer, we will try to trace for each theme the main creative lines that have crisscrossed the career of the woman artist, to whom we will give a central role.
