. Louis Dumur : écrire pour combattre
  • Author: Cotter (Cédric)
  • Abstract: Throughout the First World War, the ICRC continuously maintained a neutral stance that was not connected to Swiss neutrality. In essence, it believed that the work of the Red Cross justified itself, and that humanitarian ideals would prevail. Swiss neutrality was invoked by committee members only when used in response to attacks against the organization or its members.
