Abstract: Based on a critical re-reading of Tania Farah’s thesis, Kevin Saliou examines the place of women in Les Chants de Maldoror and sees it as proof of Lautréamont’s misogyny. This study is part of a group of texts exploring the way in which the poet expressed his homosexuality, in this instance by rejecting the feminine.
