Abstract: Lyons, 1542: the printer Pierre de Tours gathers, under the title Grands Annales, the editions of Gargantua and Pantagruel which have been printed a few months earlier by his father-in-law François Juste. At the opening of the book reads a violent pamphlet against Étienne Dolet, hitherto unpublished and full of Rabelaisian verve. This paper gives arguments for the attribution of this anonymous text to Barthélemy Aneau, at that time proofreader and editor in the workshop of Pierre de Tours.
