Abstract:Le Petit Œuvre d’Amour, et gaige d’amytié, a collection of love poems published in 1538, is anonymous but signed with two mottos. Long ignored by critics, it came back into the spotlight with his attribution to Scève in 1926. Since, attribution and refusal of attribution were opposed violently. This reduced to silence the book for some forty years. How to get out of the deadlock?
