Abstract: The Colloquy of Poissy was the place where Anne de Marquets developed and renewed friensdhip with Claude D’Espence. In 1566, their collaboration led to the publication of Collectarum ecclesiasticarum liber unus, which presents a Latin translation in verse written by D’Espence, and is followed by a French translation which is attributed to Anne de Marquets. This article studies the originality of her poetic translation while being faithful to the spirit of the book of Collects.
