Abstract: Marie de Gournay (1565-1645) was an alarmed observer of the linguistic and literary changes brought about by the "Malherbian reform" and the powerful purist trend, which she denounced from the 1620s onwards in the name of a high idea of literary language. This section brings together three articles that highlight, beyond the attachment to the heritage of the Pléiade, the originality of a writing with daring accents.
