Abstract: This contribution focuses on a text not yet published entitled l’Espitre as femes and included in the MS BnF, fr. 25545. This short composition in six quatrains of Alexandrine verses depicts women from a misogynist point of view and ends using a more lenient tone. The article presents its first critical edition, an analysis of its main sources, and of the cultural context of the poem, along with a study of its main linguistic features
