. Synonymie verbale et constructions verbales concurrentes
  • Author: Valdez (Cristian)
  • Abstract: This article evaluates the degree of semantic overlap between ser soltero and estar soltero through a data analysis based, on the one hand, on the identification of textual markers related to categorization and spatio-temporal anchoring operations and, on the other, on the possibility of substitution between the constructions. Thanks to this methodology, contexts where the semantic opposition is functional can be distinguished from cases where it is not necessarily activated.
