. Synonymie verbale et constructions verbales concurrentes
  • Author: Bouveret (Myriam)
  • Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the near synonymy between the three verbs casser “break”, briser “break”/“break something brittle/shatter” and rompre “split”. The corpus extracted from Europresse surveys a period from 2020 to 2022. Our study is set in Cognitive Construction Grammar (CCxG). This cognitive conceptual framework is based on entities called constructions (CxG) and on frames, borrowed from Fillmore's Frame Semantics theory.
