Abstract: This article focuses first on the definitional criteria of sentence and of prefabrication in order to define the concept of ‘prefabricated sentence’. Secondly, the focus is on a set of parameters likely to favor a homogeneous classification of the main types of prefabricated sentences identified in the vast literature dedicated to the subject. Finally, seven major types of prefabricated sentences are inventoried and compared according to the previously identified parameters of classification.
