Abstract: “Tea with Claudel” is a text of admiration that lightly reviews some aspects of Claudel's work: the diplomat's perspicacity based on his knowledge of economic factors; his intimate understanding of Eastern cultures and mentalities that mark his poetic work. And, finally, the knowledge of the world of tea, from the study devoted to "The tax on tea in England" to the fine description of a tea ceremony in Japan, in 1936.
