Abstract: Gilles Blanchard, who has set up Le Père humilié at the Rennes Bretagne National Theater, gives his discovery of the play topicality close to a youth, worried to understand the commitments of some today young people. Their concerns find a startling echo in the aspirations of the young heroes of a play written more than hundred years ago. He also makes a parallel between the play vocation shared by his young interpreters and the destiny to which longs for Orian with Horodarmes.
