Abstract: The article rehearses a dialogue between Montaigne and Sibiuda who, although they have different questions, also have common interests. Sibiuda wonders about the ultimate destiny of man and his rational nature; while Montaigne wants to learn the art of living according to his human condition. However, they are also interested in the fact that man knows himself, that he does not remain lost and that he follows the natural path. Their answers will be opposed, but still in an anthropocentric and anthropomorphic framework of cognitive order.
