Abstract: After having specified the notion of “plasma” applied to the texts of the Renaissance, this article explains the argumentative organization of the Apologie of Raymond Sebond. Its complexity, its circumlocutions, and even contradictions, are not unlike some previous Declamations with which text orchestrates a network of thematic and stylistic echoes. If the plasma is here pertinent, defended thesis are less important than the investigative process that eventually dissolve them all.
