Abstract: Our article studies the diplomatic approach towards the wolf of the filmmaker Jean-Michel Bertrand in his two documentary films: La Vallée des Loups (2017) and Marche avec les loups (2020). The analysis is based on the notion of “diplomate-garou” proposed by the philosopher Baptiste Morizot. Considering these two films as thought-images and acts engaging the freedom of creation, seems a singular way of expressing this diplomatic thought.
