Abstract: To use the referential criterion, thinking about the chaotical history of relations between mimesis and artistical picture, can probably not to solve the particular status of virtual picture and the digital technologies applied to art. It might be rather interesting to consider that virtual picture, as perhaps every picture, is the indicial sign of the relation between artist and spectator.
