Abstract: The community’s life requires friendship between citizens, not just the constraint of laws and common interests. The article examines how Kind and Country [Joseph Losey, 1964] experiments this Aristotelian hypothesis by opposing the position of Carl Schmitt who makes war the presupposition of politics because it would distinguish between friend and enemy.
