Abstract: This article analizes the Histoire des Martyrs of Crespin-Goulart as a source for the study of the circulation of Reformed works in the Early Modern. It intends to retrace paths already taken in search of new testimonies and less explored fields, but also to reflect – once the risks inevitably linked to the exploitation of a partisan document have been taken into account – on the opportunities it offers compared to the sources traditionally used to measure the diffusion and reception of texts.
