Abstract: Rassemblement Démocratique Révolutionnaire announcement was published on February 1948, signed by many writers and reporters. Albert Camus was not among them, but it seems that he was sometimes very close with these left-wing task force groups. He published three articles in their newspapers, La Gauche, and was one of those who spoke during the famous December 13, 1948 meeting in Paris. Camus’s original features can be found regarding the analysis of RDR positions, ideological stakes and figures of this group.
