Abstract:Les Soleils des Indépendances mixes the real world and the imaginary world, the Malinke world and the world of Independence. As a result it seems to be essential to study the matrixes of the imaginary which structure the anthropological figures that can be detected in the novel, in order to get greater insight into the existing connections between the novel, literature and politics. History and story overlap, thus revealing the analytical, critical and poetical power of a writing style which is always in tension.
