How to map a totality? Fredric Jameson’s “late Marxism”

Fredric Jameson intends to deal with the crisis of representation specific to late capitalism, and its cultural expression – postmodernism – suggesting a dialectical and totalizing approach. Inspired by Sartre and Adorno, his critique assumes a complete "figural" reading of the concepts of Time and Space present in Marx's Capital. This new reading enables us to understand the creative use Jameson makes of the Sartrian concepts of Group, Subjectivity and History.
