Blockchain technology and the cryptodivine promise to put an end to third parties

The key goal of blockchain technology is to get rid of the trusted third party. This article links this technology with the Western ideological-institutional system and problematizes this promise to overcome the third party from a cultural and religious perspective. Emphasis is placed on the paradoxical reappearance of the irrational-mythological setting in the environment of this technological mechanism, which claims to have put an end to all forms of ambiguity and irrationality.
