Traduire l’hétérolinguisme ou aller au-delà du public monolingue Réflexions à partir de textes postcoloniaux francophones

Grounded on monolingual foundations, Translation Studies has most often disregarded the phenomenon of linguistic heterogeneity. Taking as examples some Postcolonial Francophone novels, this paper explores how heterolingualism represents an opportunity rather than a problem. By questioning the conventional translation model, particularly its monolingual conception of readership, it paves the way to new conceptions of translation and its practice.
