La culture, pierre angulaire du traduire

Culture is everywhere, in all texts, whatever their genre. Its translation gives rise to numerous comments. Combining theory and practice, I discuss a number of assertions from translation scholars. I then show, based on a few examples, that not all cultural elements can be submitted to the same process, which also depends in part on context and the aim of the translation.
