Anthroponymes et création lexicale Ou pourquoi Moranono s’éloigne du canon dérivationnel

This study analyses deonomastics created from anthroponyms that name French political figures. The aim is to show that these complex words formally and semantically move away from classical structures – from what is expected and regular – in word-formation. To do so, this article analyses a web-based database of deonomastics. It shows that the deviations from the idealized standard are due to the relationship between the anthroponym and extra-linguistic reality.
