In 1954, Jan Čep gives account of his exchange with Paul Claudel whom he visited at his home in Paris. It’s one of the last interviews granted by the writer before his death in February 1955. It begins with the reminder of the open letter published in a Prague review that Jan Čep had forwarded to him in 1938, after the Munich events.
