“A Precise Text for Thinking Correctly” A Friendship under the Banner of Montaigne

This text relates the story of the Pléiade edition of Montaigne that André Tournon hoped to produce with Fausta Garavini and Géralde Nakam, and which did not transpire, because the conventions of the collection did not allow for the original punctuation to be respected, whose importance had been demonstrated by André Tournon’s studies.
